Investigation on evacuated tubes coupled solar still with condenser and fins: Experimental, exergo-economic and exergo-environment analysis

The present experimental work was done to check the performance enhancement in distillate productivity between CSS and MSS climatic conditions of Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India (23.21° N, 72.63° E). In modified solar still (MSS) fins, evacuated tubes newly designed zig-zag shape air-cooled condenser were attached. An prepared achieve higher temperature water inside basin maintain a lower glass cover than CSS. highest obtained inner for 63.75 °C & 69.21 54.37 54.93 separately. Modified gives around 6 by maintaining same as maximum output 2.26 kg/m2 3.92 kg/m2, respectively. It 73.45% thermal analysis system, fractional exergy evaporation could be achieved MSS. Also, with different modifications, efficiency obtained. cost analysis, 0.013 0.015 USD/L, Exergo-economic exergo-environmental shows that system highly beneficial from economic point view generation less carbon value CO2 mitigation.
